Terms of Service
General
I have the right to refuse any commission
The finished model files given to the client are for runtime only. Live2d project files will not be given to the client unless there is a specific reason for needing them (company or talent agency commission).
I require credit to be clearly written in an easy to see place. This should be in your Twitter bio and about page on your channel.
Please use "MageHouse" somewhere in your credit to me.
Clients must fully disclose any planned dates for debuts of the rigged model. Deadlines cannot be hastened after the commission process has started.
Clients cannot under any circumstances use any part of their commissioned rig for non fungible tokens. Use of my rigging for any advertising or profit associated with NFTs or cryptocurrency is strictly forbidden.
Clients cannot under any circumstances use any part of their commissioned rig for AI or AI Training.
I have the right to use the final product and its derivatives for promotional purposes. This includes posting the finished work on Twitter and add examples to this website. Credit to your Twitter/Twitch/YouTube/ECT will be given either in the Twitter post or under the example video on my website. If you purchased privacy fee I will wait until you debut to add the example or show any of the work.
Applications and Process
I will only rig a previously rigged model if I am provided a written agreement by both the previous rigger and model artist
Individual slots will not be taken until I have confirmed the details with the client and I have agreed to take on the commission
Unlimited revisions are offered while rigging is in progress. All major revisions should be made at this time. Once the first version of the final model is sent to the client, up to 3 revisions will be offered. Additional revisions will be subject to a fee of $50 per revision.
I require a 1 - 2 month window for finishing the project. This window starts when I begin your project, not when you take a slot or are added to the wait list.
In the case that permission is given to livestream working on your commission, there is a possibility that I will test the movement of your model with tracking software on stream.
Payment
I do not offer refunds. I will only accept payment when I am ready to start a project.
I do offer payment plans if needed. Please let me know before the invoice is sent.
I need at least 25% of the total commission price up front before I will begin rigging your model.
I do not accept payment until I am able to begin rigging your model. That way if you need to cancel for whatever reason before I start rigging the model no money has been exchanged.
Express (finish commission in 2 weeks) will be an additional cost of $200. Depending on the design/overall complexity of the model, I may not be able to accept it if the deadline is still too tight. In cases like these, I am open to discussing pushing certain parts of the rigging to a later date
I will accept payment via Ko-Fi or PayPal. If payment is made through PayPal, an invoice will be sent.
Payment will also be accepted via VGen if commission is requested through VGen's website.
Workflow
Commission Applications/Forms will be accepted via Google Forms or VGen.
I will contact client via email, Twitter, Discord or VGen to discuss the commission and anything that might need to be recut.
Client will receive the final quote and Rigging Scope Checklist. Client agrees to quote and Rigging Scope Checklist drafted by myself. Client will then be added to wait-list on Trello and given an estimated start month.
Once I am able to begin the commission, an invoice will be sent to client via PayPal or VGen. Client can also pay with Ko-Fi if commission is not through VGen.
At least 25% of total invoice is paid; work on the commission begins.
Progress videos and/or pictures are sent to the client throughout the work period; adjustments are made according to any feedback. Additionally, the client will receive reports via the Rigging Scope Checklist that was approved at the beginning of the commission.
Progress updates can be requested at any time.
Usual workflow for rigging is as follows: advanced toggles or animations, face rigging, head angles, face toggles, hair physics, body angles, body physics, all other toggles, Vtube Studio model setup. The order may change depending on the commission.
Client will be sent an overview video of the rigging once the model is mostly complete. All major adjustments should be made before or at this time. After any final feedback has been given/adjustments have been made the client will be requested to pay the rest of the commission cost.
Once the model is complete and I have received 100% of the commission cost, I will send a .zip file with the runtime model folder for Vtube Studio. This will include all physics and toggles set up for client. Additionally, client will receive a model setup guide via .pdf and .pptx
If there are any small adjustment desired by the client after trying out the model, these points will be fixed, and I will send a new version of the files. Revisions at this point will begin to be counted. After the 3rd revision, the client will be required to pay an additional $50 USD per revision.
If tracking settings need any adjustments, assistance will be provided to the client.
Client will have a window of 2 weeks to request revisions after model files have been sent. This is to help workflow and prevent backlog in my queue. Exceptions can be made to this, please ask.
If you would like additions or new things added to your model at a later time, we can discuss scheduling. I will prioritize any current commission I am working on over any adjustments or additions for past models.

Do I need to have a finished PSD?
Yes, I will only be accepting finished PSDs for applications as I need to confirm the layer and part set up
What makes your prefer one application over another?
If the model is neatly layered, had detailed cutting, permission to livestream rigging your model, and flexible schedules will make me more inclined to take on your project. I also love to see my models in use, so if you plan to use them often that's a huge bonus too~!
What kinds of things are on the application?
There will be areas to include things about your desired rig, including: Desired toggles, expressions, and animations, deadline flexibility and schedule, PSD upload, PayPal email for invoicing, tracking method you will be using, and permission for me to livestream working on your model. Please note that I prefer being able to livestream working on your model over not.
How long does it take for a commission to be completed?
In general, it will take anywhere from 1 to 2 months to complete a complex full body rig.
Why do commissions take so long?
I do not rig live2d models full time. I work a 9 to 5 job in addition to streaming, thus my schedule is a bit tight. Please know that I will never accept a commission if I do not have time to complete the commission.

Half Body rigging is from the waist up - the lower body will be very minimally adjusted. Detailed finger movement will also not be included.

If possible, I ask for the pose of the alternate outfit to be the same as the original outfit, for highest efficiency.*Hairstyle Toggle: I will only rig 1 to 2 additional hairstyles at a time. You may come back for additional hairstyles at any time. Prices may be reduced for hair pieces that are not a full new hairstyle (e.g., pigtails added to the base style).*Additional Outfit: All outfit toggles will come with a special transition. Please see an example here. I require the model to have a nude base under the original outfit. I will only rig one additional outfit at a time. Check out the Quote Calculator if you want an estimate of what your commission would cost. You can check it out at any time even when the commission status says CLOSED.Click the Commission Application button and fill out the Google Form if you wish to commission me. Please make sure my status says OPEN first, the form will be closed otherwise.I try to take in a new batch of 1-2 people per month. If you're wondering about when will I be available again, please check the status once a month and apply or re-apply once it says OPEN.In some cases you can get in instantly, in others you might not be contacted for a few weeks after filling out the form. Everything depends on the interest in my commissions and how many people are choosing priority slots. I apologize if it takes a long time for you to be able to get in!
